i grew a year older on every 22nd of march, maybe a year wiser than before. adulthood has always been something ive been looking forward to since i was a kid, i mean, everyone did. but the older we get, the sooner we realized that the idea we created about adulthood, shall always remain as a dream. its more than just hanging out at 10pm with your friends in a cafe, its more than spontaneous roadtrips with your bestfriends, its more than you can ever imagine. its a lot of hardwork, the weak can never survive and somehow, unwillingly, it makes people stronger, it pushes people out of their comfort zone, it makes people do things they've never done before, it makes us do decisions we dont want to do, it makes us realize that life is so much more than selfies with friends & getting sad over the smallest things. its hard to accept it, sometimes i have to mentally slap myself to remind me that i am an actual human being with raw emotions & feelings, with responsibilities to deal with.

so here's to 19 years of living, & hopefully more to come. here's to a degree i'll gain,a successful career to uphold, and a marriage to build. here's to more years to worship the Almighty
