Petronas F1 Grand Prix

im so sorry that this post took more time than expected but here goes!
so on the 2nd October, i was given the chance to do something very exciting, something ive never done before. me & my family attended the Petronas F1 Grand Prix for the first time ever!!!
it was exciting, it was thrilling, full of adrenaline rush!! it was also blazing hot, the kind of hot that'll give you a 2 day migraine.
but despite the killing weather, the long walks and insanely crowded, it was such a fun experience!!!! no wonder people are obsessed with it, i can see why. and in the midst of all of it, i had a thought.
i needed to try new things more often, eventhough i might push the idea of it in the beginning,
like i did about the whole F1 thing, i didnt wanna go because i thought it would be boring, pointless & just tiring, but i was wrong, oh was i very wrong.
i need to try these kind of things more often, new things that are out of my comfort zone.
maybe start small, maybe jogging a few times a week, maybe i could go dancing class once in a while, or maybe i can go bigger, like, bungee jumping!! the nearest to home is at sunway pyramid, because my parents are still afraid to let me go far;
like the other day i wanted to go to broga hill with my friends, they were totally against it, said it was dangerous, i might fall, i might encounter weird people and other nonsense excuses,
i know theyre just worried, parents, what else can they do kan,
but they cant go on like that forever, or can they? i dont want to know really
anyway, the whole point is, i am more willing to try new things now. i do get unmotivated so easily but i can also get motivated in a split second. so i'll use that advantage to good use, insyaAllah.
oh & i think i would wanna go to the F1 event again next year, thank god its only once a year here in Malaysia because god dammit the ticket price is just off the roof!
lucky for us, my uncle works at the Sepang Circuit so he got a whole bunch of free tickets!! (God bless him so much!!)

we arrived at the venue about 1.30pm, got our free parking spot!! (again, thanks to my uncle) before we got ourselves seated, we walked around, to truly enjoy the experience la gitu.
there were tshirt stalls, merchandise stalls, photobooths, podiums to take photos at.
one of the crazy things were the shirts that were sold there; ranged from RM300 and upwards!
holy cow! sometimes i wish i was filthy rich. moving on, here were car displays of Ferraris & Lamborghinis! obviously took photos, wouldnt even think twice haha
and also the organizers gave out free hand fans & flags. people went crazy for it,
malaysians and their love for free things. muka tak malu betul sampai ada yang ambik banyak gila, my dad was one of them hahahahaha
there were also mini games there like golf, mini race cars & mini motor GP lmao but yeah, you get the idea. the best thing was, there were a lot of cute guys, like a lot, a lot okay! hand to contain myself, thank god i came with my family, otherwise god knows what else could happen
it was almost race time & we headed out to our seats, mummy & papa had VIP tickets, alongside with cik ngah, ayah ngah, my baby cousin & my cousin!
so not fair! they got seats near the podium while me, my 2 brothers & opah were seated a little bit further,
i'll share the photos later, no worries!
despite our seats were non VIPs but it was really strategic! Lewis Hamilton's car blew right in front of our eyes! could almost jump out and touch him, thats how close we were. if it was a 50m jump la.

race started at EXACTLY 3pm! they were very punctual!
when the race started, it gave me adrenaline rush!! like i felt i could do everything!
but then it died down, few ohhs and ahhs here & there but nothing exciting, until the part where Lewis Hamilton's car blew up! that was like a shock to everyone, obviously no one was expecting that,
world champion kot!
worst part it, during that occurrence, my little brother just HAD to go to toilet, being the caring sister i am, i accompanied him & we both missed that scene! it was so frustrating tbh!
but life moves on, sadly. and again, race ended at EXACTLY 5pm with 52 laps if im not mistaken. the 1st place and 2nd place went to the german racers. 3rd one went to the petronas racer(dont know what country he's from, just know that his car has a petronas logo lmao) we rooted for him after Lewis had the accident earlier hahaha

After the race, we went to the usher concert & oh my god, one of the best moments of my life!!!!! at first i felt it was unnecessary to go because it was weird to go with your family,
thats what i felt la. but thank goodness my mum convinced me otherwise, my mum you guys!
could you believe it? shocker, i know! while the rest of the gang sat on the grass & watched the show through the big screen, i was standing between the crowds with my mum & my cousin!
usher took way too long to come out but oh my god it was worth it!!!!!!! had so much fun!!!!!
funny thing is, prior to usher coming out, accidentally bumped into some of my msu mates who were standing behind us lmao awkward.
the show ended at 11pm and i regret nothing! that was my first ever concert and it was so much fun!!! it was so much better because it was free hahahahaha
and then we headed out from the venue, head to our car and parted our ways.

it was such a fun experience! it was one of a kind, it was unforgettable, definitely! im gonna tell my kids someday about this!
will share few of the photos i took!
so here's to trying more new things, even the smallest ones. to new memories, new adventures, new people!
